The implication for SaaS: your next ten customers don't start on Google. They ask an LLM which tool to use, the model recommends two or three, and you either are or aren't in that shortlist. Citation share inside frontier models is the new top-of-funnel metric.

The thesis

Scale to $1M ARR
on autopilot.

Three operator profiles. One growth OS. Whether you're a solo founder, a Series A team, or a multi-brand operator, the path runs through the same flywheel — measure citation share, displace the competitor, prove the lift.

Solo founder

$0 → $1M ARR without a marketing hire.

Skip the $5k/mo agency retainer. The flywheel runs the audit, ships a gap-fill post every morning, and reports lift on Monday — you stay in the product.

The product

Measure. Displace. Prove.

Three tightly coupled systems. The first tells you where you're losing in AI search. The second writes the content that wins those queries back. The third confirms it actually moved the citation needle, every Monday.

01 · Measure

AI Visibility Audit + daily tracker

Crawl your domain through the same lens an LLM does. Score technical AEO health, pull a citation-gap analysis vs. your top competitors, and start tracking the prompts your buyers actually ask — sampled daily across three engines.

  • Full audit + downloadable PDF
  • Daily tracker × ChatGPT / Perplexity / Gemini
  • Per-prompt citation share over time
  • Competitor share-of-voice breakdown
The flywheel
02 · Displace + distribute

Daily citation-gap content factory

Every day at 11:00 UTC the gap-fill engine picks your worst-cited tracker prompt, writes a ~1,500-word AEO-grade post targeting it, auto-publishes to your blog, pings IndexNow so Bing/Yandex re-crawl in hours, and embeds Article schema + a one-click Reddit / HN share bar.

  • Auto-published, attribution-tagged content
  • IndexNow ping + JSON-LD Article schema
  • Share bar to LLM-cited surfaces
  • Toggle off any time from the dashboard
03 · Prove

Attribution + weekly inbox digest

Every published post is linked to the tracked prompt it targets. We sample your citation share before publication, re-measure after, and show the per-engine lift on the dashboard — plus a clean Monday email summarizing gains, regressions, and the posts behind them.

  • Per-post before / after citation lift
  • Per-engine breakdown
  • Weekly digest, suppression-aware
  • Real-time regression alerts (Q3)

A different stage, a different angle: replacing a $4k/mo content retainer with the gap-fill engine — and watching Perplexity start citing the new posts inside three weeks.

The setup

A 5-person dev-tools company had been paying $4,000/mo for a content agency that shipped four blog posts a month. The posts were generic SEO bait — none of them ever appeared in Perplexity, Gemini, or ChatGPT for the comparison queries that actually drove buyers to their landing page.

The switch

They cancelled the retainer, moved to ZenithStack Growth, and let the gap-fill engine ship one targeted post every morning. By day 14 the first weekly digest landed with measurable lift on three queries. By day 22 a Perplexity comparison query was returning their domain in the top-3 cited sources.

"Replaced a $4k/mo content retainer in week two. The output reads like an operator wrote it, not an LLM. We've stopped editing every post."

Why legacy SEO is failing

Ahrefs and Semrush optimize for
a search engine that's losing users.

Legacy SEO tools rank you on Google's page 1. That mattered when Google's page 1 was where buyers started. Today they ask an LLM, and the LLM cites three brands — none of which are decided by your H1 tag or keyword density.

What gets optimized Legacy SEO tools ZenithStack engine
Optimization target Google page-1 ranking ChatGPT / Perplexity / Gemini citations
Primary data signal Keyword volume + backlinks Live citation share across LLMs
Content execution Briefs handed to writers / agencies Autonomous gap-fill + auto-publish
Distribution Hope Google re-crawls IndexNow + JSON-LD + social syndication
Proof of impact Rank-position dashboards Per-post citation lift, attributed

Legacy SEO isn't useless — it still moves traffic. But it answers "who is on Google's first page?" and your buyers stopped asking that question. The right tool now answers "who does ChatGPT recommend?" — and writes the content that changes the answer.

Founder's message

Built because the agency loop stopped working.

After watching too many SaaS founders pay $5,000/mo for an agency that shipped blog posts no LLM ever cited, we built ZenithStack as the operator-grade alternative — measurement, content, and distribution running on one credit ledger, with the lift proven in your inbox every Monday.

The mission is simple: replace marketing overhead with infrastructure that actually closes the citation gap in the engines your buyers use. No agency timeline. No human in the loop you have to manage. Just a flywheel that compounds while you ship product.

Common questions

Specifics,
not slogans.

How exactly do you measure citation share?

For each tracked prompt, we run the same query against three live engines (ChatGPT Search via OpenAI, Perplexity Sonar, and Gemini) once per day, parse the returned citations, and tag each cited URL by brand. Your "citation share" for a prompt is the fraction of cited results pointing to your domain or naming your brand. We sample with grounded web search enabled so the result reflects what a real customer would see, not a cached training-data answer.

Will the auto-blog content sound like AI slop?

The generator targets ~1,500 words using a PAS framework, integrates 2–3 real third-party statistics with sourced URLs, and forces unique H2 headings per article. It writes like an opinionated operator, not a marketer. Output lands on your own subdomain with Article JSON-LD, an Organization publisher block, and your branding — exactly the signals AEO crawlers look for. Read live samples on /blog — that's our own dogfooded output.

How long until I see citation lift?

Perplexity tends to react fastest — citations on net-new content can land within 24–72 hours because Perplexity grounds every query in live web search. ChatGPT and Gemini take longer (often 1–3 weeks) because they lean more heavily on indexed and cached data. The IndexNow ping + Article schema shortens the median by pushing Bing and Yandex to re-crawl quickly; LLMs rely heavily on Bing's index.

What does a credit cost me in practice?

An AEO audit is 10 credits. A 1,500-word blog generation is 25 credits. A tracker run is 1 credit per prompt × per engine — so 5 prompts × 3 engines = 15 credits/day. On Growth ($499 for 7,500 credits), the typical daily burn is roughly 25 (gap-fill blog) + 15–30 (tracker) ≈ 40–55 credits, giving ~150 days of headroom for occasional one-off audits or extra content.

Is this a black box or can my team see what's running?

Fully transparent. Every blog the system ships is visible in your dashboard before it auto-publishes, with the source prompt it targets, the citations of competitors it's trying to displace, and the per-engine citation lift it produced once data lands. You can toggle the daily auto-blog off at any time from the Content Factory panel and switch to manual.

Which engines do you track and why those?

We track ChatGPT Search, Claude (with web search), Perplexity, and Gemini — the four engines where your buyers actually go for purchase research today. ChatGPT and Claude have the largest user bases, Perplexity is the fastest to react to net-new content, and Gemini is increasingly surfaced inside Google's AI Overviews. Each runs once a day per tracked prompt; we extract citations from structured tool output (Perplexity citations, OpenAI annotations, Gemini groundingMetadata, Claude web_search citations) rather than fragile regex on the response text.

What's the free scorecard at /audit and how does it differ from the paid product?

The free scorecard is a 60-second snapshot: we ask ChatGPT (with live web search) what it recommends as alternatives to your domain and report whether you made the list, who got cited instead, and one concrete fix. It's one query × one engine — a coin flip. The full ZenithStack product runs your 10 head queries × 4 engines every day, auto-publishes the gap-fill content, and emails a quarterly impact report. The scorecard is the demo; the product is the trend line.

What's in the quarterly impact report?

Every 90 days we automatically email you and your team a one-page recap: net citation lift vs the prior quarter, citation-share delta per engine, top 5 winning prompts (with engine attribution), top 5 lost-ground prompts, and the list of blogs published. It's designed to be forwarded to a CMO without editing — that's how renewal conversations become trivial. Stamped, dated, and stored in your email forever.

Do you offer an agency plan for managing multiple brands?

Yes. The Agency plan ($1,499/mo and up) gives you up to 20 brand workspaces on one account, pooled credits across all of them, white-label digest emails and quarterly reports with your logo, and a dedicated Slack channel for onboarding new clients. We also cover the migration cost if you bring 10+ brands. Email enterprise@zenithstack.ai to start.

What's the difference between SEO, GEO, and AEO?

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) targets Google's blue-link results page — keyword volume, backlinks, on-page tags. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) targets generative answers — getting cited inside ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini responses where the model is reasoning over the web. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) is the technical scaffolding that makes a page citation-worthy: clean JSON-LD schema, semantic HTML, structured FAQ markup, source attribution. ZenithStack runs all three — but the metric we hold ourselves to is GEO, because that's where your buyers are looking now.

How does ZenithStack compare to Ahrefs, Semrush, or Profound?

Ahrefs and Semrush are best-in-class for Google rank tracking and backlink analysis — they're not built to measure LLM citations. Profound, Otterly, and similar point tools are good at monitoring what LLMs say about you, but they don't write or publish the content that changes the answer. ZenithStack is the closed loop: we track citation share daily across three engines, the gap-fill engine writes the post that closes each gap, IndexNow pushes Bing/Yandex to re-crawl, and the weekly digest proves the lift. One credit ledger, one dashboard, no Zapier glue between point tools.

Do I still need a content marketing agency or a marketing hire?

For pure AEO/GEO output — measurement, gap-fill content, distribution, attribution — the flywheel replaces a typical $4–6k/mo content retainer end-to-end. Most teams in our beta cohort cancelled their agency in week two. You may still want a human marketer for brand strategy, lifecycle email, paid acquisition, or partnerships — those aren't what we do. But the daily "ship a blog post that closes a citation gap" job runs without a human in the loop.

What CMS platforms and hosting setups do you support?

By default we host the gap-fill blog on a ZenithStack-managed subdomain (e.g. insights.yourbrand.com) with your branding, JSON-LD schema, and canonical pointing to your apex — the cleanest setup for AEO crawlers and the fastest path to citation. We can also publish into Webflow, WordPress, Ghost, and Framer via API integration; the auto-publish + IndexNow ping + schema injection runs the same way. Headless CMS support (Sanity, Contentful, Strapi) is on the roadmap.

How is my data handled? Do you train models on my content?

Your business knowledge — uploaded documents, dashboard config, tracked prompts, FAQ entries — is siloed to your tenant and used only to ground the generation and audit jobs you run. We do not train foundation models on your content. Generation traffic goes to OpenAI and Anthropic under their respective zero-retention enterprise terms; tracker queries hit ChatGPT Search, Claude (web search), Perplexity Sonar, and Gemini Search APIs without leaking your account context. Database is Neon Postgres with TLS in transit and encrypted at rest.

How does the free trial work? Can I cancel anytime?

Every paid plan ships with a 3-day free trial — full access to the audit, tracker, gap-fill engine, and digest, no feature gating. You can cancel from the dashboard with one click at any time, including during the trial, and you won't be billed. After the trial converts you're billed monthly in USD via Stripe; cancellations stop the next renewal and let you keep using credits already on the ledger through the end of the billing period.

What happens if the auto-blog ships a factually wrong post?

Every draft is visible in your dashboard before it auto-publishes, so you can review and override at any point. The generator runs a structured-output pass that requires every statistic to be paired with a sourced URL — claims that fail the source check get rewritten. You can also flip auto-publish off entirely from the Content Factory panel: the engine will still write and queue posts, but they'll wait for a one-click manual publish. If a published post turns out to be wrong, it can be edited or unpublished from the dashboard in under 10 seconds and IndexNow will re-crawl the change.

Can I track what my competitors are getting cited for?

Yes — every tracked prompt returns the full set of cited URLs and brands from each engine, not just yours. The dashboard's competitor share-of-voice breakdown shows which 2–3 brands are eating each query, week over week, with the URLs the models are citing. The gap-fill engine uses this directly: when it picks the prompt to write against, it looks at what your strongest competitor is being cited for and writes a post that targets the same intent with a sharper angle.

Is there an enterprise or custom plan?

Yes — for teams that need more than 25,000 credits/month, multiple seats, a private DPA, custom retention terms, or a managed onboarding, reach out at enterprise@zenithstack.ai. We'll scope a custom plan typically inside 48 hours.

Do you support non-English content or international brands?

The audit, tracker, and digest run fluently in English today. The content generator can produce posts in Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Japanese — set the target language per tenant in dashboard settings; published posts carry the matching lang + hreflang attributes so LLMs route them correctly. Additional languages (Mandarin, Korean, Arabic, Hindi) are on the roadmap and prioritized by demand. If a specific market is critical to you, mention it on the signup form and we'll flag it.
